Learning respect for horses is very important because these large flight animals can hurt you if you don’t know how to handle them. It is a very serious sport where your equipment/partner can make decisions and really has a mind of their own.
On a lighter note, I enjoy doing fun things with my horses. Having fun and smiling is really important. I really feel like my horses appreciate my sense of humour. Having shared my happiest times with my horse as well as the saddest times, has been really important to me. However, it means a great deal that I can also have fun with my horses.
