- Safety equipment will be worn at all times. Equine approved helmets will be worn. Helmets are provided but you are more than welcome to bring your own. Please remember that a skating or biking helmet is not the same as an equine approved helmet. You can ask me for advice when shopping for your own.
- Dress Code – Jeans or leggings must be worn. A T-shirt and warm closer fitting jacket can be worn. Hoodies and baggy clothing is not allowed as it can pose a safety risk. PS: Please make sure that clothing does not have any inappropriate/offensive logos.
- Boots with a heal are required for safety reasons. Open shoes are not allowed. Flip flops are meant for the beach and not for horse riding 🙂
- Announce yourself when entering the barn!! Horses like to know that you have arrived. Simply saying “hello, Hi or Here Here” a few times will let everyone know you are here.
- Respect and kindness is vital. We don’t tolerate inappropriate language, rudeness or unkindness to staff or our livestock. Always be respectful and kind as that is all our four-legged friends are accustomed to.
- SMOKING/VAPING/DRUGS ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED on all parts of the property.
- Riders are welcome to bring family and friends. We love visitors. Please stick to the barn and riding arena. We have other animal residents on our farm that love their privacy.
- Waivers are required for all riding as we are an insured facility.
- The most important rule is to have fun and remember to ask questions if you are uncertain. Your coach is here to help you enjoy this learning experience.
